So the World Cup has finished (a while ago) and we continue our day. Germany's win for their fourth cup title made me proud (my two teams that I wanted to win were Germany or USA). Feel sorry for Brazil..... that game.....
7-1......
But with good news in the world comes the bad news. Like the catastrophe of the Malaysia Airline flight that was destroyed by a surface to air missile. I give peace to their families. Just the rush of war causes accidents.
But we need to look at the future. And speaking of future: Drones. Imagine one of those bad boys delivering pizza to your doorstep? I would be all down for that. And more
Drivable Mech (yes drivable, fully working mech suit):
m.youtube.com/watch?v=2iZ0WuNv…^for the measly price of about $2 mil, you can get a 20 meter drivable mech suit called KURATAS, made in Japan. Has a missle system (eco, water-based rocket, so no worries on the accidental destruction of your home), 2 belt fed minguns, a claw hand, and most importantly..... A CUP HOLDER AND IPHONE CHARGER! This thing can go 10-15 Km per hour and is all run on diesel fuel, meaning it can go to your local gas station for refueling. It has two modes for height, compact and elevated, and is possible to control remotely on the outside with IOS technology (meaning your apple iphone will control this thing). And it's street legal!..... i think.... maybe the cops would understand if you promise not to use those tempting miniguns and water rockets.... yeah.... um...
Automated home system robot:
m.youtube.com/watch?v=FB53BIrT…^meet JIBO, an automated home system (kind like SIRI for the house). A family friendly robot that assists you with house tasks, like planning dates for events, gathering instructions for that delicious meatloaf your family loves and/or hates, and gathering home calls. AND much more. And he's kinda cool, and resembles EVA from WALLE. Pre-ordering costs are $500, bit cheaper than the $2 mil for that mech.
Amazon Prime Air:
m.youtube.com/watch?v=98BIu9dp…^ Ever wanted that neat pair of shoes, needed computer parts, or that one book, yet don't have the time to wait 3-4 days either from deadline to lack of patience? Well, worry no more! The Amazon Prime Air service uses drone technology to deliver packages onto your doorstep within an hour or less. If air regulations agree, and it is fully supported by the public, it can be seen commercially even as soon as 2016!
Now... waiting for dominoes to get that technology, and drone pizza here I come!
Also, for what I am doing, I am making a comic/manga/thing. It's all hand made, so I need to figure out a way to digitize it, since my scanner is broken. But i'll get to that soon.
